CHAPTER 6  8/16-BIT UP/DOWN COUNTER/TIMER

[Bit 14] CDCF: Count direction change flag

This flag is set when the count direction is changed. When the count direction is changed
from up to down or down to up during counting, this flag is set to 1.

0: Writing 0 clears the setting.

1: Writing 1 is ignored. The value of this bit is not changed.

[Bit 13] CFIE: Count direction change interrupt enable bit

This bit controls the interrupt output for the CPU when CDCF is set. An interrupt occurs if the
count direction is changed at least once during counting.

[Bit 12] CLKS: Internal prescaler selection bit

When timer mode is selected, this bit selects the frequency of the internal prescaler.

This bit is effective only in timer mode and only for down counting.

[Bits 11 and 10] CMS1 and CMS0: Counting mode selection bit

This bit selects counting mode.
