CONSULTATION HOLD

The Consultation Hold feature allows you to place a party on a
temporary hold in order to consult with another party.

To place a party on Consultation Hold:

Action

Results

1. While on a call, press the

The party is on hold. You hear

FLASH

button.

dial tone.

2. Dial the extension number

You hear ringing.

you wish to consult.

3. When the called party answers,

begin speaking to the called
party.

NOTE

To disconnect from a Consultation Hold and return to the original
caller, refer to the Consultation Hold - Release feature.
