Installing Five to Six DEs for Each Node
This section describes the required (estimated) length of cable for configuring five or six DEs connected to each
node with 12 CEs installed.
•
The supplied cable can be used for connecting between the FE and CE#0.
•
A 3m or longer cable is required between the FE and CE#1 that are installed in the same rack.
•
A 3m or longer QSFP cable and a 5m or longer management cable are required between the FE, and the CE#2
and CE#3 in the first expansion rack (or Expansion Rack#0).
•
A 10m or longer cable is required between the FE, and the CE#4 to CE#B in the second expansion rack (or
Expansion Rack#1).
