Preface
For better clarity, the following naming conventions are used:
ETERNUS DX S2: ETERNUS DX410 S2/DX440 S2, ETERNUS DX8700 S2
ETERNUS DX S3: ETERNUS DX500 S3/DX600 S3, ETERNUS DX8700 S3
ETERNUS DX S4: ETERNUS DX500 S4/DX600 S4
ETERNUS AF:
ETERNUS AF650/AF650 S2
ETERNUS DX/AF: ETERNUS DX S2, ETERNUS DX S3, ETERNUS DX S4, ETERNUS AF
This document briefly explains the required special settings in order to connect an ETERNUS DX/AF storage
system to a server running BS2000 via a Fibre Channel interface.
This document should be used in conjunction with any other applicable user manuals, such as those for the
ETERNUS DX/AF storage system, server, OS used, Fibre Channel card, drivers, etc.
