CHAPTER 4 PRINTING

PRINTING

This chapter describes the following everyday
printing operations:

•

Using multipart form (hi impact mode)

•

Selecting the print mode(quiet mode)

•

Starting, stopping, or resuming printing

•

Removing printed pages

•

Clearing the print buffer

•

Selecting the print features

Instructions for loading paper are given in Chapter 3.

This printer has enough capability to print multipart forms. When
superior copy capability is required, use the hi impact mode. Press the
HI IMPACT button on the printer control panel. This function is valid
when the HI IMPACT indicator lights.

Print control panel

NOTE

•

Setting hi impact mode by pressing the HI IMPACT button is
cancelled when you turn off the printer.

•

If you wish to have the hi impact mode set on power-on, save the
setting in setup mode.
