1. In case that the supplied warranty certificate is
not presented or attached.
2. In case that the date of purchase and the
name of the store are not written on the
warranty certificate or that the information has
been altered.
3. I n c a s e t h a t t h i s p r o d u c t h a s b e e n
disassembled or repaired by personnel other
than one in the repair inquiry center for Fujifilm
film cameras or the Fujifilm service station.
4. Defects caused by fire or natural disaster such
as storm or flood.
5. In case that this product was damaged due to
careless handling (damage caused by wrong
operation, toppled over, impact, water, or sand
and mud intrusion), inadequate storage
(storing in a high-temperature or humidity
condition, exposed to naphthalene, storing in
a container with insect repellent), or
inadequate maintenance (e.g. mold growth).
6. Other damages resulted from the causes for
which Fujifilm is not responsible.
7. In case that this product has been specially
submitted with request for parts inspection,
complete checkup or disassembly for
cleaning.
If your product is found defective, we conduct
repairs according to the following provisions. To
request a repair, contact the store you purchased
your product directly or a Fujifilm service station.
We do not accept any other claims. For an inquiry
about the warranty or how to use this product,
contact the repair inquiry center for Fujifilm film
cameras mentioned in the last page of this manual
or the Fujifilm service station near you.
Free repair
If any defect is found within one year of purchase,
and the warranty certificate shows the date of
purchase and the store, we repair the product at
no cost in accordance with the conditions and
contents described in the certificate.
Make sure to check the warranty policy
described in the warranty certificate.
Repairs with charge
If the product's term of warranty has expired, in
principle, a charge for repair is made. Even within
the term of warranty, a charge is made in
following cases. Shipping and handling fees
should be paid by the customer.
