Move the lever 1b to the right, and
then turn the knob 1c clockwise.
Remove the jammed paper.

Note

•

If paper is torn, check for any
torn pieces of paper in the
unit.

Return the lever 1b to the original
position.

Close the front cover of the High
Capacity Tray Unit.

Note

•

A message will be displayed and the machine will not operate if the front cover of the High
Capacity Tray Unit is even slightly open.

Paper jams at lever 1d or knob 1c

Open the front cover of the High
Capacity Tray Unit.

Move the lever 1d upward and
remove the jammed paper

Note

•

If paper is torn, check for any
torn pieces of paper in the
unit.

If the paper cannot be removed in
Step 2, turn the knob 1c clockwise,
and then remove the jammed
paper.
