4 Menu Description
CAUTION
Modification of some settings in this menu may affect the correct operation of the receiver. Therefore it is
important that you carefully read this section of the manual before changing any settings. Some functions are
protected by a password to prevent accidental changes.
4.1 Main Menu
The main menu appear as soon as the user ends the first installation procedure (par.
3.1
). It consists of six entries:

Channels
: channel and radio lists can be modified and erased from this submenu
•
Installation
: set main parameters of antenna system
•
System Setup
: set system and OSD settings
•
Tools
: it manages software upgrade via OTA and it shows information about system and CI/CI+ module
•
USB
: it manages software upgrade via USB and the multimedia files in the USB devices connected to the
receiver
•
Record Settings
: the user can change settings for records and PVR
Main Rules for menu navigation
In order to move focus on menu items, please use the following keys:

Moreover, in some menus, it is possible to refer to indications on the function of a particular key (usually it is useful
for red/green/yellow/blue key).
CAUTION
In order to apply a change the user can exit from current menu with BACK or EXIT key. With regards to the
applied change, a popup which asks for user confirmation can appear.
Protection and Password
Some menus/functions are protected. To access such menus, the system will ask a 4-digit password (system PIN).
The default system PIN is 0 0 0 0 (four zeros).
There are 2 kinds of PIN: the first is the system PIN and the second a channel PIN. The channel PIN is the password
chosen by the user during first installation procedure in order to lock the visualization of some channels. For further
information about password and protection, please refer to menu Parental Lock (sec.
4.4.6
).
4.2 Channels
Menu concerned with the sorting and removal of channels. This menu consists of the following submenus:
- TV Channel List
- Radio Channel List
- Favorite Groups
- Delete All
