Repeat the process with the other inputs. If the input BIII-UHF4 is configured in DAB mode will be not showing in
the menu.
If you have activated the preamplifiers option in any of the inputs, you will be
asked if you want to use the preamplifier of the input in the automatic search.
Use the
◄ ► buttons on the keyboard to select from one of these options
and press OK to confirm.
•
YES: The preamplifier of the inputs BIII-UHF will be used in auto scan.
•
NO: The preamplifier of the BIII-UHF inputs will be not used during the scanning process.
Remember that with the high gain of the equipment, if the preamplifiers could detect noise in the band as a
channel and add it. After finish the scanning must be check in each input if the channels found are correct.
Once confirmed, the amplifier will start scanning. The time taken will depend
on the number of channels to search and the selected inputs.
When the auto scanning finish appear the number of UHF channels detected.
Press
ESC to return to the main menu.
3.7 Menu BIII-UHF1
Allow add, delete or edit configuration of the assigned filter of the BIII-UHF1
input.
To enter in the menu press OK.
a) Add a new channel.
To add a new channel select with the buttons ◄ ► until show the
message in the screen “Adding channel”. Press "OK and will be add and
edit the filter.
Screen to add or edit a filter
The next screen permits add and edit the parameter of the filter and show information of the level. If not
appear the screen to edit means all the filters are used.
1) Input : Show the input where the filter is associated.
2) Input level: The value of the level of the channel detected in the input. Remember the value of level
detected could be a little different than your field strength meter. If the level is lower than 50 dBµV, the
value showing in the display will be “
Low Lev” if the preamplifiers are off or when the signal is lower
than 35 dBµV with preamplifier on. In the next line you can see and edit the next parameters:
3) Input channel: Use the buttons ◄ ► to select the input
channel. If in the position of the name of the current input, in the
example “
UHF1 ”, appear the message “ Error ”, means the input
channel is assigned by other filter. In this case need select
another input channel. Press
Ok to confirm the input channel.
4) Output channel: The programmable amplifier has an option to change the output channel of each
filter. Use this option if sort channels or to left free part of the band for other channels. Remark only
can change the output frequency but keep the rest of parameter of the signal. For example the
