Sprinkler system function test:

❒ Open ball valve only slightly
❒ Heat the sensor to above 95°C (e.g. with a lighter)

➥ The valve should open and water should flow out.

❒ Press the button on the valve briefly

❒ Check the opening of the sensor for dirt (dust, fuel, etc.) and clean if

necessary

❒ General visual inspection of the rotary agitator arms and screw joints

for damage

Joints with torsion springs

❒ Check that joints are correctly pre-tensioned
❒ Check torsion springs for damage

Mitre gear

❒ Carry out a general visual inspection

➥ No oil leaks should be visible.

Rotary plate

❒ Check the rotary plate for material build-up and clean if necessary

Trough / dosing screw

❒ Check the trough and dosing screw for dirt and damage
❒ Check the screw blades for wear

Inlet area / transfer channel

❒ Check the inlet area for material build-up or jammed fuel and clean if

necessary

❒ Check the shear plate in the entry area of the transfer trough for wear

10 Flange bearing

❒ Lubricate bearing at lubricating nipple with grease gun
