Overview
Wenn das WLAN-Funknetz der FRITZ!Box nicht in alle Räume reicht,
können Sie es mit einem FRITZ!Repeater, einem FRITZ!Powerline mit
WLAN-Funktion oder mit einer weiteren FRITZ!Box vergrößern. Mesh
fasst die einzelnen WLAN-Funknetze der FRITZ!-Geräte zu einem
einzigen leistungsstarken WLAN-Funknetz zusammen.
Mesh ist verfügbar ab FRITZ!OS-Version 7.00.
In das Mesh der FRITZ!Box lassen sich nur FRITZ!-Geräte einbinden.
Wenn Sie das WLAN-Funknetz mit einem WLAN-Repeater eines
anderer Herstellers erweitern, sind die Mesh-Funktionen nicht
verfügbar.
How Mesh Works
A Mesh always has a FRITZ!Box at its center. This central FRITZ!Box is
the Mesh Master. Other FRITZ! devices like FRITZ!Repeaters,
FRITZ!Powerline devices or other FRITZ!Box products adopt the
settings of the Mesh Master – the first time they are configured, and
every time these settings change. The FRITZ! devices also constitute
wireless access points in the Mesh, where they thus function as Mesh
Repeaters.
The FRITZ! devices in a Mesh coordinate with each other. For instance,
all devices automatically use the best connection signal in order to
achieve the fastest possible data transmission.
