BIOS Features Setup
4.3. BIOS Features Setup
Selecting “BIOS Features Setup” on the main program screen dis-
plays this menu, which allows you to define advanced information
about your system. You can make modifications to most of these
items without introducing fatal errors to your system. Note that the
page has a scroll-bar to scroll down to more items.

The following explains the options for each feature:
Anti-Virus Protection:
When enabled, any attempt to write to the
boot sector or partition table will halt the system and cause a warning
message to appear. If this happens, you can use an anti-virus utility
on a virus free, bootable floppy diskette to reboot and clean your sys-
tem. The default setting is “Disabled.”
CPU Internal Cache:
This Setting enables the CPU internal cache.
The default setting is “Enabled.”
