freeGuard Capture Appliance User’s Manual

Authentication

IM access can be well managed by

IM Authentication

. System administrator may,

accordingly, adopt one of the four available authentication methods, namely

User

Radius

POP3

and

LDAP

, to regulate internal users’ access to instant messaging.

Setting

Authentication Message is used to prompt the users when they try to sign on from the IM
client.

This message support HTML encoding. If it’s blank, then no message will be shown.
