5 Instant Messaging Management
IM (Instant Messaging) management provides system administrator with flexibility and
facility in managing IM access.
In the bridge mode, the ICR appliance can be configured to grant or deny IM access based
on account or IM application.
IM Management provides settings for:

2. Authentication configuration
3. Rules

Login Notice
Login notice is a text message delivered automatically to user once the IM client sign on
to the IM servers, it’ll show up in the conversation window or a pop up box.
It can be used for system administrator to notify users not to abuse the IM access for
private use or to announce company policy.
