Finding a Letter in a Word
If you are uncertain about how to spell a word, type a question mark (?) in place of each unknown
letter.
1.
Click and
then
Search to return to the word entry screen.
2.
Type a word with ?s (for example, st??y).
3.
Press Enter.
The MatchMaker list is displayed.
4.
Press the down or up arrows to move the highlight to the word you want.
5.
Press Enter to view its dictionary entry.
To go back to the correction list and select another word, press Backspace.

Word Finding Tips
You can also use ?s to help solve crossword puzzles. For example, you can search for a five-
letter word in which its second letter is h and its last letter is w. Enter ?h??w to see possible
answers.
