As well as locking the door, other safety equipment is activated during pyrolitic cleaning, such as automatic
circuit breakers which trip in case of malfunction.
At the
end of pyrolitic cleaning
(display
), the oven will start to cool down. The internal
temperature is brought down by the fan; the door can only be reopened when the internal temperature has
dropped below 240°C.
The display will now read END. Now turn the selector knob to 0 (OFF).
You will now see a quantity of white powder on the oven walls and floor. Remove it with a sponge dampened
with warm water once the oven has completely cooled down.
Electronic oven temperature control
Enables programming of the oven and grill in the following modes:
delayed cooking with set duration;
immediate cooking with set duration;
minute counter.
Button functions:
: hour, minute counter
: cooking duration
: end of cooking
: manual switching
: time setting (back)
: time setting (forwards)
Setting the digital clock
After the appliance has been connected to the mains or after a power failure, the display will flash on:
0.00
Press the button and set the correct time within 4 seconds.
Increases the time setting.
Decreases the time setting.
To adjust the clock, proceed as described above.
Manual operation
When a cooking program is selected, the oven immediately starts heating up, as indicated by the symbol
on the display.
For each program, a recommended cooking temperature is shown on the display (SEE: Cooking table); this
temperature can be changed by the user with the knob : turn counterclockwise to decrease the temperature,
clockwise to increase it.
The flashing symbol on the display indicates that the oven is in the preheating phase, during which the
oven has not yet reached the set temperature. Once the set temperature is reached, the oven beeps for two
seconds and the symbol stops flashing (steady) to indicate that cooking has started.
Starting immediate cooking with set duration
Suppose you want to cook for 30 minutes at 200°C:
1. Turn the program selector knob; the display will show the recommended temperature, which can be
adjusted with the temperature regulator knob .
2. Press the button and then the keys and to set the desired cooking duration, 30 minutes in this
case.
Release the button; after 4 seconds the flashing symbol
will display to indicate that preheating has
started. The countdown only starts when the set temperature has been reached (except for grill function, in
which case the countdown starts immediately; see B). The display indications are as follows:
A - preheating
(the set time can be checked with the button and the temperature with buttons and ).
Once the set temperature is reached, the oven beeps for two seconds and the symbol stops flashing
(steady) to indicate that cooking has started.
