Chapter 6 Special BIOS Functions

SuperSpeed

Super Speed is a powerful and efficient easy technology for PC DIY fans. It offers

a friendly interface. Users can set the CPU Clock easily in the BIOS setup.

Procedures:

Cor rectly install your CPU.

Plug in other configurations and r estore the system.

Switch on power to the system and press the <Del> key to enter BIOS Setup.

Enter the <BIOS Featur es> menu to set the CPU clock.

Save and exit BIOS Setup; your system will now boot successfully.

BIOS pr ovides you with a set of basic values for your pr ocessor selection in-

stead of the jumper settings. The processor speed can be manually set fr om

the <BIOS F eatures> m enu screen.

Warning:

Be sure your selection is right. CPU overclock can be dangerous!
