Chapter 2 Installation Instructions

BIOS-Protection Jumper: FWH_EN

The motherboard BIOS is inside the FWH. If the

jumper FWH_EN is set as Disable (Pin1 & Pin2),

the system BIOS is protected from being attacked

by a serious virus, such as the CIH virus. You will

be unable to flash the BIOS to the motherboard

once the system BIOS is protected.

LAN Disable Jumper (optional): LAN_DIS

This jumper is used to enable or disable onboard

LAN. Short pins 1 and 2, the onboard LAN is enable.

Short pins 2 and 3, the onboard LAN is disable.
