Chapter 2 Installation Instructions
Fan Connectors: CPU_FAN, FAN1, FAN2
There are three fan connectors on this motherboard.
Audio Connectors: CD_IN, AUX_IN (optional)
CD_IN, AUX_IN is Sony standard CD audio
connectors, to receive audio input from the CD-ROM,
attach its audio connector to the CD_IN/AUX_IN au-
dio connectors on the motherboard.

Wake-up on Modem (optional): WOM
Through this function, systems in suspend or soft-
off mode can be waken up by a ring signal received
from the internal modem. When this function is used,
be sure an internal modem card which supports this
function is provided. Then connect the header to the
relevant connector on the modem card, set “RING
Power Up Control” as “Enabled” in the “PM Wake
UP Events” of “Power Management Setup” section
of the CMOS Setup. Save and exit, then boot the op-
erating system once to make sure this function takes
effect.

Wake-up On LAN (optional): WOL
Through the Wake-Up On LAN function, a wake event
occurring from the network can wake up the system.
To utilize this function, please be sure to use an ATX
12V power supply with a 5VSB line capable of deliv-
ering a current of at least 1A, and a LAN adapter
which supports this function. Then connect the
header to the relevant connector on the LAN adapter,
set “PCIPME Power Up Control” as “Enabled” in the
“PM Wake UP Events” of “Power Management Setup”
section of the CMOS Setup. Save and exit, then boot
the operating system once to make sure this func-
tion takes effect.
