Turning the radio on and off
At times, you may want to turn the watch radio off. For example, you may want
to preserve the watch battery when you know that you will be out of range of the
broadcast signal. By default, the radio is turned on.
To turn the radio off:
1. From the Settings mode, press
Next
to scroll to
Radio,
and then press
Enter.
2. Press
Next
to turn the radio off, and then press
Enter.
The no signal icon
( ) is displayed in the upper right corner of most watch views.
If you turn the watch radio off, you won’t receive any new information -
broadcast or personal - until you turn the radio back on. Any information that you
received before you turned the radio off remains on your watch.
You may be required to turn off your watch for airline flights.
Changing the transition option
In some of the watch channels, you can choose how the screen transitions when
you move between screens by setting the Transition option.
To change the transition option:
1. From the Settings mode, press
Next
to scroll to
Transition,
and then
press
Enter.
2. Press
Next
until you find the transition you want, and then press
Enter.
