Step 3: Install Post Cap
1. Place the Insect Screen back onto Post Cap Base. Position
the Post Cap onto the Post Cap Base. As shown in Fig. 43.
2. Secure Post Cap with the 4 Machine Screws that were
removed in step 1. As shown in Fig. 44.
Note:
• If installing FortressAccents 5” [127mm] or 6” [152mm]
Flat Pyramid Caps, the adapter can be removed. As shown
in Fig. 45. This allows the cap to fit composite posts up to
5” [127mm] and rough cut wood posts up to 6-1/8” [156mm].
