Installation Preparation

6

In your panel, turn OFF the switches
or fuses that feed electricity to the
electric box you will be using to
install your fan.  Also turn off the wall
switch that feeds that box.

This fan can be mounted with the down rod (5) in
a flat ceiling or a vaulted ceiling as long as the
angle of the ceiling is under 19 degrees.
This unit cannot be mounted flush on the ceiling.

The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 7 ft.
(2.1 m) clear distance from the blades to the floor
and 30” (0.76 m) clear from any wall or object.

Make sure that your
box is properly
grounded and has
either a green or  a
bare wire.

    !

WARNING:  The electrical outlet box

should be clearly marked “Suitable for

Fan Support”.  Failure to do this may

result in serious personal injury.
