Installation
1
. Be sure that the hood is clean and dry inside and out.
2. Install the five (5) bumpons as shown.
Attention: the bumpons must be installed on the hood, not on the deflector!!!
If the bumpons are installed on
the deflector, they may wear through the paint.
NOTE:
Locate the center of the hood using a tape measure and place the first bumpons as shown in the
illustration.

3. Wipe the area where the gasket will be installed with alcohol wiping pad. Measure 70mm from the corner of the hood as shown in the illustration, remove the
protective liner from the gasket and install the gasket on the surface of the hood. Be sure to install the gasket flush with the leading edge of the hood. Press
the gasket along its length to ansure a good bond to the surface of the hood.
Attention:
This product uses a 3M adhesive product that requires installation and curing temperatures of at least 20°C/ 70°F for 24 hours to develop
maximum adhesion to the surface.
Failure to install this product at the proper temperature or allow adequate curing time before use is not
covered under warranty.
4. Open the hood of the vehicle. Peel and fold anti-abrasion film pads in half over the edge of the hood, in the two (2) locations shown.
