After the buffer space is configured, set the various discard thresholds under

It is important that you follow the order shown
in this section for configuring the thresholds. The
calculation of each threshold is dependent on the
previous one.

For this buffer configuration example, assume you have set the buffers to use high2quarter,
meaning that both the high and low priority buffers have 16, 384 cells as shown in Figure D.1.
