El líquido refrigerante del motor debe estar en el “FULL COLD” (nivel
de llenado en frío) o dentro del “COLD FILL RANGE” (rango de
llenado en frío) como se indica en el depósito del líquido refrigerante
del motor (dependiendo de la aplicación).

Si el líquido refrigerante del motor no se ha revisado en el intervalo
recomendado, es posible que el depósito esté vacío o con un nivel bajo.
Si el depósito está vacío o con un nivel bajo, agréguele líquido
refrigerante del motor. Consulte

Llenado de líquido refrigerante del

motor

en este capítulo.

Nota:

los líquidos de automóviles no se pueden intercambiar; no utilice

líquido refrigerante del motor, anticongelante o líquido de lavaparabrisas
para una función diferente a la especificada, ni en otra parte del vehículo.

Llenado del líquido refrigerante del motor

Al agregar líquido refrigerante, asegúrese que sea una mezcla 50/50 de
líquido refrigerante del motor y agua destilada. Agregue la mezcla al
depósito del líquido refrigerante

cuando el motor esté frío

, hasta que

se obtenga el nivel de llenado apropiado.

ADVERTENCIA:

No agregue líquido refrigerante del motor

cuando el motor esté caliente. El vapor y los líquidos candentes,

liberados de un sistema de enfriamiento caliente, pueden producirle
quemaduras graves. También puede sufrir quemaduras si derrama
líquido refrigerante en las piezas calientes del motor.

ADVERTENCIA:

No coloque líquido refrigerante del motor en

el contenedor del líquido lavaparabrisas. Si se rocía en el

parabrisas, el líquido refrigerante del motor puede dificultar la visión a
través del parabrisas.

Agregue Motorcraft Premium Gold Engine Coolant o un
equivalente que cumpla con la especificación Ford
WSS-M97B51-A1.
