Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
No
REPAIR circuit 371 (PK/WH). TEST the system for
normal operation.
N5 CHECK THE BLOWER MOTOR RELAY GROUND
Measure the resistance between the blower motor relay C2017 socket pin 86, circuit 275 (YE) and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to
N8

No
GO to
N6
.
N6 CHECK CIRCUIT 275 (YE)
Disconnect: Function Selector Switch C294b.
Measure the resistance between the blower motor relay C2017 socket pin 86, circuit 275 (YE) and the function
selector switch C294b pin 4, circuit 275 (YE).
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
GO to
N7
.
No
REPAIR circuit 275 (YE). TEST the system for normal
operation.
N7 CHECK CIRCUIT 57 (BK)
Measure the resistance between the function selector switch C294b pin 3, circuit 57 (BK) and ground.
Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new function selector switch (19B888). TEST
the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR circuit 57 (BK). TEST the system for normal
operation.
N8 CHECK CIRCUIT 687 (GY/YE)
Ignition ON.
Measure the voltage between the blower motor relay C2017 socket pin 87 and ground.
Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to
N9
.
No
REPAIR circuit 687 (GY/YE). TEST the system for
normal operation.
N9 CHECK CIRCUIT 1001 (WH/YE)
Measure the voltage between the blower motor relay C2017 socket pin 85 and ground.
Yes
INSTALL a new blower motor relay (14B192). TEST the
