Activate magnet
Place the drilling machine on the base.
Press the RED switch (“I”) to activate the magnet.
Switching the motor on and off
The motor unit can only be switched on when the magnet is activated. To switch the motor ON press the
GREEN button (“–”). To switch the motor OFF press the RED button (“O”).
Maintenance and care
Caution! First remove the mains plug from the socket. The magnetic drill stand must be kept clean and
should be cleaned regularly. To avoid accidents, the drill stand, connection cables, protective conductor
connections, plugs and sockets, switches and automatic start lock must be checked regularly for damage.
Note: Also observe the maintenance and care instructions for the attached electric tools. Damaged ma-
chine parts are only to be replaced by original spare parts. All sliding surfaces of the guide must be oiled
quarterly, after cleaning. Should side play occur, this can be compensated by adjusting the grub screws.
For optimum cooling, the ventilation slots of the drill drive must be kept free of dirt and dust. Please note
that electrical equipment may only be repaired, maintained and checked by qualified electricians (in ac-
cordance with VBG4), as improper repairs can cause serious danger to the user!
