5-5-3. SAMPLE AREA
Move the cursor over SAMPLE AREA on the AUTO VIDEO OPTIMIZER menu, and press the
menu control knob. The SAMPLE AREA menu as shown below opens.

IMPORTANT
Sample Area determines the area in which data is sampled and the level adjustments
are applied to whole images.
5-5-4. RESPONSE
The Response menu allows you to set the filtering strength for calculating the mean
distances that are applied to histograms created using the sample data.
The larger the value, the more gradually filtering is performed, with a more stable image but
slower response.
The smaller the value, the less stable the image, but with a faster response.
5-5-5. GAMMA MODE
Allows you to enable or disable Gamma mode. On enables gamma level correction. Off
disables the correction.
