13. When the top of the tube 042013 is reached, screw on component 022003, screw on next tube 042013 and
continue with assembly of staircase (Fig. 1) (Fig. 10).
14. Once the end of 042013 tube is reached, screw the 022001 component to the 046036 component keeping
the threaded hole upwards (screw on the 046036 element, keeping in mind that it must be at the same
height as the landing). Continue to insert the steps using the compensation component 023001 in the D78
or D79 spacer and the 131030 or 131031 spacing discs (Fig. 11).
15. Cut the 023001 component at about 3 mm from the fixed rabbet of the shortest part, inserting it into the
D78 or D79 spacer, and insert in order the D78 or D79 spacer and the 088002 landing. Align the landing
with the small hole (which allows the passage of the baluster) on the leading side of the steps (Fig. 9).
16. Insert the 023035, 023037 or 022065, 009010 components and lock the 005008 component (Fig. 1) (Fig. 2).
Fixing landing
17. Move component 047009 towards ceiling. Determine the position, keeping a distance of about 15 cm from
the outer edge of the landing, drill with a 14 mm bit and definitively secure, using components 008001 (Fig. 1) (Fig. 2).
18. Fix components 047009 to landing, using components 011053 (drill landing with a 4.5 mm bit).
19. Position components 132016 (Fig. 1) (Fig. 2).
Assembly of 040 railing (go to point 41 for model 030)
20. Unlock the 005008 component and fan out the 103008 steps. It’s now possible to ascend the staircase.
21. Starting from the landing, insert the connecting balusters 121019 between the treads. If necessary, cut the
balusters 121019 on the lower side to obtain a railing height of about 100 cm. Assemble the cable conduit
parts 034035 on the balusters positioning them equidistant from tread to handrail. Assemble the parts
033098/033078 on the balusters orienting the parts 033078 with the holes facing up (Fig. 1) (Fig. 9).
Tighten the part 001013 of the lower and upper tread according to the rise (Fig. 1).
22. Carefully check that all balusters positioned are vertical. This is essential for successful final assembly of the
staircase.
23. Definitively tighten component 005008 (Fig. 9).
24. Fix component 033142 to floor in position of first baluster, drilling with an 8 mm bit. Use components
011053, 008004, and 001004 (Fig. 1).
25. Position the first baluster 121019; adjust height according to the balusters fitted earlier (Fig. 1).
26. Prepare spiral handrails (p. 52).
27. Insert the steel cables 004041 into the parts 034035 on the balusters, positioning the parts 004048 in
correspondence to the balusters at the end of the railing side. Secure the cables on one of the two ends
using the parts 004048 and 001011. Cut and secure the cables on the opposite end using the parts
004048, 001011 and 011040 (cover the cable ends with some adhesive tape to prevent them from fraying
when you cut them). Tighten the cables by screwing in part 011040 in sequence from top to bottom (Fig. 1)
(Fig. 6) (Fig. 7).
28. Complete assembly of railing, fitting components 031054 into the lower part of balusters 121019 and
components 004051 into side of treads (Fig. 1).

29. Screw part 033063 onto stay 046036 with screw 011038 (Fig. 1).
30. Position components 033063 on landing, using components 002040 and 001004. Drill landing with a 5 mm
bit, keeping a distance between centres that allows at least four balusters to be fitted.
31. Cut balusters 121019 at 91 cm and assemble components 033098/033078. Position balusters 121019,
with components 033078 facing outwards, and tighten component 001004 (Fig. 1).
32. Fix straight handrail 140010 using components 002031 (Fig. 1).
33. Depending on position and presence of walls around the stairwell, it may be necessary to position one or two
extra balusters 121019 (Fig. 9).
34. In this case, a space must be considered that is at the same distance from the other balusters or from the
wall. Drill landing with a 4.5 mm bit and assemble with components 033063, 001004 and 002040 (Fig. 1) (Fig. 9).
35. Assemblyoffloor-mountedbalustrade,ifapplicable(Fig.16)
Determine the position of the posts on the floor, on average one every 28 cm and at a distanza of 8 cm from
the edge.
Take care : for circular balustrades, use the circular handrail to determine the distance of the posts from
the edge of the floor aperture – this distance varies according to the radius of the circular handrail supplied.
Drill with a Ø 10 mm bit and insert the 046015 components, fixing them with chemical resin (not supplied).
Assemble components 033063 with components 009002 and 005001. Insert the 121019 balustrade
