The L•TVPortable Pro computer to TVconverter changes the video out-

put from your computer into video that most modern TV's and VCR's use.
With L•TV Portable Pro, you can record your computer's output to a VCR
or display the image on most TV's.

L•TV Portable Pro can be used in many ways, for example:

• A sales executive can use it to bring presentations from a laptop screen

to the large TVscreens that you find in most meeting rooms.

• An MIS department can use L•TVPortable Pro to create training tapes

or outfit a training room.

• A teacher can demonstrate a software package to an entire classroom

by using large screen TV's.

• The home users can add excitement to their video gameplay by

projecting the image to a larger TVmonitor.

L•TV Portable Pro additionally has an audio amplifier and volume con-

trol. While giving presentations to a group, you’ll appreciate the ability to
amplify your voice. While recording your own video tapes, you can easily
add narration and control the volume at the same time. L•TV Portable Pro
does all of this without having to install any special software.

Hardware Requirements

Before you install, the following are required for the operation of the

L•TVPortable Pro system.

IBM:

1. A computer with a VGA display connector for attaching an external

monitor. L•TV Portable Pro will work with all IBM PC compatible
VGA display cards. However, certain “Windows Accelerator” VGA
cards display 640 by 480 and other graphics modes at higher frequen -
cies than conventional cards. If you own one of these cards, it's best to
configure it to run at 60 Hz, rather than 70 or 72 Hz. This is usually
accomplished by using the VGAcard’s install program.

2. A TV/monitor, VCR or any video device that can display or record

NTSC video.

Macintosh:

1. A computer with an external display connector for attaching an exter-

nal monitor. L•TV Portable Pro will work with all Macintosh display
cards and on-board video with the exception of the Mac IIci on-board
video. In order to see the output on both the computer monitor and TV
simultaneously, you'll need to be using an Apple 12", 13", or 14" mon-
itor. If your monitor is larger than 14 inches, it must be a multisync,
capable of running at various frequencies.

2. A TV/monitor, VCR or any video device that can display or record

NTSC video. Usually, such a monitor will have a connection labeled
"Video In".
