Push the red release handle
towards the kite.
Let the release handle go as
soon as the loop has opened.
The kite will be hanging
on the Safety Leash.
If necessary, it is possible to comple-
tely release yourself from the kite. Push
the release handle on the Safety Leash
away from your body. For the safety of
persons downwind of you, this should
only be done in extreme emergencies.
02.10 Resetting the Quick Release
If the kite is under tension, fix the
Safety Endline to your harness hook to
have both your hands free to reset the
Quick Release. (see the Kite Manual)
Push the end of the open loop
all the way over the metal pin.
Spin the bar after a rotation or kite-
loop until the Steering Lines are free.
The Infinity 2.0 Quick Release will
untwist the depower line automati-
cally when you power up the bar.
After many rotations it may be ne-
cessary to untwist the Endline. There-
fore before launching, you should
check that the Endline is not overly
twisted. If it is, untwist the Endline.
02.09 Activating the Quick Release
Tip:
The Infinity 2.0 Quick
Release allows the kite to
be quickly brought down
into safety mode. You should
do a test activation of the
Quick Release before every
session to not only check
the proper functioning of the
Quick Release, but also to
train yourself how to use it.
Let go of the bar.
