Configure Hardware

The Configure Hardware page lists the available telephony ports in your system. You can configure the hardware to comply with your local
telephony environment.

Tone Region:

Please choose your country or your nearest neighboring country for default Tones (Ex: dialtone, busy tone, ring tone etc.).

Module Name:

Type the device name.

Opermode:

Specifies On Hook Speed, Ringer Impedance, Ringer Threshold, Current Limiting, TIP/RING voltage adjustment, Minimum Operation al

Loop Current, and AC Impedance selection as predefined for your country's analog line characteristics.    Please choose your co untry, or your nearest
neighboring country. FCC is equivalent to United States. TBR21 is equivalent to Austria, Belgium, Denmark,  Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland,
Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. If no user cho ice is specified,
the default is FCC.

a-law Override:

Specifies the codec to be used for analog lines. North American users should choose ulaw. All other countries, unless otherwise

known, should be assumed to be alaw. If no user choice is specified, the default is ulaw.
