Testing Other Devices
A variety of pressure-measuring and pressure-generating devices can
be tested using the Tester. The Tester can be used as a pressure
standard to easily test water manometers, mercury manometers, and
sphygmomanometers.
Set up the system as described in the section titled
Pressure
Measurement . Substitute the system to be tested for the transducer.
Use the Tester to measure pressure only. The Tester is not designed to
generate the high pressures required by some of these instruments.
