10.0 Switching on
The drive unit is switched on and off via pressing the green/red button (8).
The machine is fitted with an no voltage circuit and can only be switched on when it is live. The machine switches off
automatically in case of a power failure or a voltage drop. The drive unit cannot start up again automatically on return
of power.
11.0 Selection of correct speed
The selection of the correct speed depends on more factors: tool diameter / working piece diameter / working piece
material, treatment.
ATTENTION! The permitted cutting speeds according to the safety instructions must not exceeded. Adjust speed
accordingly.
12.0 Lubrication
The ball bearings in the spindle head are lubricated for life and do not require any maintenance.
13.0 Tensioning / changing the belt
Attention, please disconnect from mains!
Remove side cover (4) and the light-barrier (5),
untighten the nut of the intermediate gear (6), push the intermediate gear to the left, position the belt as requested.
Bring the Intermediate gear back in original position, and fix it. Fix also the side cover (4) again. (fig.1)
14.0 Removing the motor / changing the coal brushes
Attention, please disconnect from mains! To remove the motor, remove the cover. Disconnect the plug connection
and unscrew the ground protection from the spindle housing. Remove the screws and take the motor out. To change
the coal brushes remove the brass insert.
Installation: when the coal brushes are replaced, the taps must fit in the
housing holes. The installation is being made in reverse order. (Tighten the belt)
