4.12 Gigabit networking
It is recommended that MFDs with gigabit (1000
Mbits/s) network ports are daisy-chained together.
One of the
MFDs should then be connected to the
network using the Gigabit port of a RayNet network
switch. This will ensure that the MFDs fully utilize
the available bandwidth.
