Modbus Server

Supplement to User Manual - ENGLISH

SU_ModbusV2-8, 2015-03-02

Introduction

Modbus is optional for transmitters with firmware version V5.56 and higher.

The Modbus server supports two modes:

• Modbus mode:

The transmitter is operated as Modbus slave.

• RS485 (sender) mode:

The transmitter sends plain text information about the current measurement and does not respond to Modbus requests.

In order to select the Modbus mode, the HotCode

485000

has to be entered (see chapter 2).
