2.4.3 Starting up the generator
WARNING: Automatic start-up
Deadly danger! - The generator can be equipped with an
Autostart function. This means that the generator is
started by an external signal. In order to prevent an
inadvertent start-up, the starter battery must be
disconnected before work on the generator may
commence.

1. Switch on the xControl CP-G
The remote control panel is started by pressing the On/Off
button. The On/Off button must be pressed until the Home
page is displayed.

2. Press the Start/Stop - Enter key

3. The xControl performs a self-test.

4. The xControl preheats the diesel engine.
After preheating, the generator is started by the xControl
system.

In order to minimise current consumption, preheating is
interrupted briefly when the starter is operated.
