Preparing for measurement

■ 

Connecting OralChroma to a PC

For initial measurement, make sure to connect the OralChroma unit to a PC in this
procedure. Because the connection in this procedure is not necessary after the initial
measurement, start directly “Activating the unit”(page 28) excluding the following cases.

When you remove the power cord from the unit,

―

When you turn off the main switch on the back, or

―

When the power is down due to power failure, etc.

1.

Make sure that OralChroma is connected to PC with USB cable.

CAUTION

Do not yet turn on PC nor the Main switch of OralChroma

2.

Turn on the PC to run

OralChroma DataManager

.

3.

Confirm that “

Current status

” is “

Power off

.”

CAUTION

If the “

Disconnection

” is shown in “

Current status

”, check if the USB cable is

connected, USB driver software is installed, and COM port is properly set.

4.

Turn on the Main switch ( | ) at the back of the unit.
