8.USE
8.1 FIRST IGNITION
Before switching on the electricity supply to the oven, check that the
general switch
is OFF and the burner enable switch
is OFF.
Switch
the
switch ON. Set the selector
to
maximum
Set the desired temperature on the thermostatic control.
Open the gas supply valve and turn the burner enable switch
ON.
10 seconds after ignition the indicator
comes on. Wait 40/50
seconds.
If after 40/50 seconds the
button lights, check whether the gas
supply is correctly connected and that the supply valve is open. Ignition
failure at the first attempt is probably due to the presence of air in the gas
supply line, or wrong electrical connection. Check that the blue wire in the
mains lead is connected to the mains neutral..
8.2 GENERAL INDICATIONS FOR BAKING
It is impossible to give general indications in terms of baking times and
temperatures for all food products, given the enormous variety.
With specific regard to pizzas and similar products, baking times and
temperatures depend on the shape and thickness of the dough, and the
quantity of other added ingredients.
We recommend you make a few trial runs (especially if you are unfamiliar
with the oven) starting from temperatures around 300-350 °C, and taking the
following points into consideration:
