Accent Light Bulb Replacement
35 Watt 120 Volt T4 Halogen Bulb (GY6.35 Base)
Warning:
The appliance must be completely cool before servicing.
Warning:
Accent light bulb can remain very hot after it has been turned off. Use caution when
replacing the bulb.
Warning:
Turn power off to the fireplace prior to servicing.
1. Remove the barrier and glass frame assembly (see details starting on page 20).
2. Use a ¼” nut driver to remove the (4) screws securing the Light Housing to the ceiling of the firebox
(set aside for reinstallation).
NOTE:
Take care not to damage the gasket that seals the Light Housing to the top of the fireplace.
If the gasket appears damaged, contact your dealer for a replacement.
3. Lower the Light Housing into the fireplace to gain access to the retaining screws.
4. Use a standard 1/8” or “micro” screwdriver to loosen the (2) lower retaining screws.
NOTE:
There are (4) retaining screws on the socket (2 on each side). Make sure to loosen the two
lower screws ONLY (closest to the bulb).
5. Remove the bulb from the socket by pulling directly downward on the bulb.
6. Install the replacement bulb into the socket by lining up the two pins on the bulb with the socket holes
and pushing the bulb upward into place. Tighten the retaining screws.
NOTE:
Take care not touch the replacement bulb with your bare hand. The oils from your skin can
shorten the life of the bulb.
7. Return the
fireplace to the
proper
configuration.
