After the rigger has sealed the reserve with 

the red safety tie, the top-most flap (reserve pin 
protector flap with see-through panel) should 
be closed.

The see-through panel allows a reserve 

pin-check to be made at any time—and without 
opening the pin protector flap.

While closing the top flap with the reser-

ve pin, make sure that the RSL line  (when 
used) is cleanly attached to the reserve 
cable.
