ATTENTION:
three pressure adjustments of the brush on the
floor can be made. To adjust the brush pressure, act on the
adjustment lever (9) on the brush head unit (
Fig.9
). The first
step identifies a normal fabric covering; The second step
identifies a “loop pile” fabric covering; the third step identifies
a deep pile fabric covering.
ATTENTION:
if the filter replacement light (10) lights during
work (
Fig. 10
), this means that the bag filter need emptying
(versions with fabric filter) or replace it (versions with paper
filter); to empty or change the bag filter, read the chapter
“MAINTENANCE”.
ATTENTION:
if the filter replacement light (10) stays on, even
after the maintenance or the replacement of the filter, the air
inlet filters (2) and air outlet filter (3) of the vacuum motor may
be clogged; to clean the filters, read the chapter
“MAINTENANCE”.
ATTENTION:
if the red light (11) on the brush head unit lights
during work, this indicates that there is an excessive load on
the brush (
Fig.11
). Turn off the appliance and change the
pressure of the brush exerted on the floor.
If there is the need to use one of the accessories during work,
proceed as follows:
1. Switch off the appliance by positioning the main switch (5) to “0”
(
Fig.8
).
2. Press the handle release pedal (6) and position the control
handle vertically (
Fig.6
).
3. Detach the vacuum pipe (8) (
Fig.8
), use the handle on the hose.
4. Insert the accessory that you want to use in the lower part of
the pipe.
5. Switch on the machine by positioning the main switch (5) to “I”
(
Fig. 5
).
6. Continue to vacuum.
ATTENTION:
If the filter replacement light (9) comes on
during the use of the accessory, there may an obstruction or
in the nozzle of the accessory or in the vacuum pipe; to clean
the filters read the chapter “MAINTENANCE”.
AT THE END OF WORK
At the end of the work, and before carrying out any type of
maintenance, perform the following operations:
1. Switch off the appliance by positioning the main switch (1) to “0”
(
Fig.1
).
2. Unplug the power supply cable from the mains socket.
ATTENTION:
do not grasp the plug with wet hands.
ATTENTION:
To prevent damaging the power cable,
disconnect the plug from the mains socket by directly pulling
the plug and not the cable.
3. Wind the power cable around the lower (2) (
Fig.2
) and upper (3)
support (
Fig.3
).
4. Recline the appliance by pulling the handle towards you and take
the appliance to the place where it is maintained and carry out all
the procedures listed in the chapter “MAINTENANCE”.
5. Having performed the maintenance operations, take the
appliance to the designated storage area.
ATTENTION:
Park the appliance in an enclosed place, on a
flat surface; near the appliance there must be no objects that
could either damage it, or be damaged through contact with it.
