Storage formatting (Format internal memory)
Use this option to format the 8GB internal memory of the M3 (e.g. if it has been
formatted into an incompatible format by mistake, when the M3 was connected to a
computer).
Press OK on this option to show confirmation dialog, Up / Down to choose “

icon and press OK again to confirm and format the internal memory.
Or press
Menu to cancel.
Please back up any songs and data stored in the internal memory before formatting, as
all data will be deleted by formatting.
The M3 will format the internal memory to FAT32 format; this is required for firmware
updates.

Use this option to format the micro SD card inserted into the M3 (e.g. if it is
formatted in a format incompatible with the M3).
Press OK on this option to show confirmation dialog, Up / Down to choose “

icon and press OK again to confirm and format the micro SD card. Or press Menu to
cancel.
Please back up any songs and data stored in the micro SD card before formatting, as all
data will be deleted by formatting.
The M3 will format the micro SD card to FAT32 format.

Restore factory defaults
Use this option to reset all options on the M3 to factory defaults. Press OK on
this option to show confirmation dialog, Up / Down to choose “
” icon and press OK
again to confirm and restore factory defaults. Or press Menu to cancel.
You may try this option if your M3 encounters any unexpected malfunctions.
