Chapter 3 : Using the Scanning Features

3-5 Starting Scanning

After having made necessary settings on the [Scanner setting basic] screen, press [START] on the control panel to start scanning.

After scanning start, the LCD screen returns to the [Select Transmission Object] ([Scanning base mode]) screen.

When the copier's control panel is in the scanner mode, no print jobs can be received and therefore no output is
produced. Put the control panel into the Copy mode by pressing [COPY] button when you do not need any scan-
ning features.

If AUTO RESET is effective, the LCD screen returns to the Copy Mode automatically after setting time passed.
