In any case the stay within the safety barriers has to be short and merely
related to the above mentioned operations.
A major safety is achieved rotating the key type selector switch on the
control console to setup position (the machine changes to setup mode): in
this case the photoelectric protections reset it is not enough, but it is
necessary to rotate the key type selector switch to the unlocked mode
position.
In the event of whichever else need to approach the machine it is necessary
to set the machine in stand-by mode by means of the relevant push button
on the CNC, stop the hydraulic power unit and then press the emergency
stop push button.
We recommend always to switch the machine off by opening the main
breaker when maintenance operations are required or, if short operations
have to be repeated after a lapse of time (for example 10-15 minutes), to
activate the emergency stop push button.
All the cleaning operations require to switch the machine off by opening the
main breaker
Every 15 days it is necessary to check for each axis driven by a braked
motor the wearing state of the transmission belt between the pulleys, the one
of the balls screw and the one of the motor. In the event it is necessary to
remove the belt or the motor, if it is not possible to previously carry the axis
at the end of stroke downward, before carrying out any possible operation, it
is necessary to sling and support by a bridge crane, or other suitable
supporting means, the drilling or cutting unit to avoid their failing down.
At the end of the daily working operations, before switching the machine
off, it is suggested to lower the Z axis till down the min. axis barrier.
In the event a maintenance operation is required into the electric board,
remember that the speed variators (drill rotation and band rotation) and the
axes drives (carriage, drilling gaugeline and forward, marking) take some
minute to completely discharge from their inside the residual voltage.
Therefore if the opening of the electric board door (which if the main
breaker is not activated, that automatically cuts the main breaker off) takes
place just after the machine was kept active, it is necessary to wait a few
minutes before execute measurements or verifications on the power
terminals between the drive and the motor.
