In 2016, the Occ upa�on al Safety and Health Admi nistra� on (OSHA) published a final rul e re gula�ng
occupa �onal exposure to respirable crystalline silica (silica). OSHA has provided guidance on
engineering controls and prac �c es for speci fi c applica �ons whi ch can be found in Table 1 of 29 C.F.R.
§ 1926.1153 (c).
