Please note

Use regulated external pilot air. Reliable faultless
operation of the VTSA valve terminal is then possible,
e.g. even with fluctuating operating pressure.

The external pilot air is supplied centrally for all valve
solenoid coils via pilot connections 12/14 on the
right−hand end plate. This also applies when the valve
terminal is operated with different pressure zones
(seeFig.3/3).

Set the pilot pressure according to the specifications in
appendix A, Tab.A/4 or in the diagrams Fig.A/1.
Valve location with vertical pressure blocking plate:

In this valve location, channel 14 is blocked by the verti
cal pressure blocking plate (see appendix B, Tab.B/7).
The valve is supplied with internal pilot air (branched
from channel 1).
Check the pilot variant for which your valve terminal has been
designed (see chapter 1.1.2, section Pilot control of the
valve solenoid coils").
Carry out the necessary installation or settings in accordance
with the following table:

Danger of damage to the code cover.
In order to modify the code cover position, first remove the
locking screw then pull the code cover out of the guide in
the end plate before inserting it into the new position.
