Pilot control of the valve solenoid coils (pilot air)

Please note

·

The type of pilot control (internal or external pilot air) is
determined by the right−hand end plate.

Internal pilot air

If  the  operating  pressure  lies  within  the  required  pilot  pres
sure  range  for  the  valves  (see  appendix  A,  Tab.A/4  and
Fig.A/1),  you  can  operate  the  pilot  control  of  the  valve  sole
noid  coils  with  internally  branched  pilot  air.  The  pilot  air  is
branched  here  from  supply  channel  1.

Please note

·

Internal  pilot  air  is  also  branched  centrally  for  all  valve
solenoid  coils  from  supply  connection  1  when  the  VTSA
valve  terminal  is  equipped  with  several  pressure  zones.

Internal pilot air

If  the  operating  pressure  lies  within  the  required  pilot  pres
sure  range  for  the  valves  (see  appendix  A,  Tab.A/4  and
Fig.A/1),  you  can  operate  the  pilot  control  of  the  valve  sole
noid  coils  with  internally  branched  pilot  air.  The  pilot  air  must
be  supplied  via  the  pilot  connection  14.
