2.2.2 Fitting onto/removing from a wall
The following components contain holes for fitting the valve
terminal onto a wall (see Tab.2/3).

Caution
The VTSA valve terminals can become distorted and there
fore damaged if they are mounted on an uneven pliable
surface.

Mount the valve terminal only on a flat rigid surface.
Overstressing the fastening holes, bending the VTSA valve
terminal with CPX terminal or internal vibrations can cause
damage.

Use additional fastening brackets of the following type
for valve terminals with more than 5 manifold blocks:
VAME−S6−10−W. The pneumatic supply plates have ap
propriate threaded holes for fitting the brackets (tighten
ing torque 3.0 Nm)

In these cases use the additional fastenings for the CPX
terminal (see instructions in the manual for the CPX sys
tem).
Fitting Proceed as follows:
1. Make sure that the fastening surface is flat and that it can
support the VTSA valve terminal (weights see appendix A,
Tab.A/1).
Make sure there is sufficient space for connecting the supply
cables and tubing.
2. Drill mounting holes in the fastening surface.
3. Fasten the valve terminal to the fastening surface with M5
or M6 screws of sufficient length.
