Mounting variants

You can mount the VTSA... valve terminal in one of two ways:

Mounting method

Description

H-rail mounting

Except for the VTSA valve terminal with
FB 21 (type 03), all the other variants of the
VTSA... valve terminal are suitable for
mounting on an H-rail (DIN mounting rail in
accordance with EN 60715).
Follow the safety instructions in the follow-
ing chapter. There is a guide groove on the
reverse for hanging the valve terminal onto
the H-rail.

Wall mounting

The multi-pin node, the pneumatic inter-
face and the end plates contain holes for
mounting the terminal onto a wall.
In the case of valve terminals with more
than five manifold sub-bases, additional
mounting brackets may be required on the
pneumatic supply plates (see the following
instructions and specifications on vibration
and shock in Appendix A, Tab. A/5).

Note

Mount the VTSA... valve terminal so that there is sufficient
space for heat dissipation and ensure that the maximum
limits for temperatures are observed (see Appendix A,
“Technical data”).
